Some consider a dog an animal, we considered him  a son . He was a loyal companion , his look could bring you out of any worries, any sad moments. How many times did we cry on his shoulders... we had lost count . His almost human ways brought countless times of pleasure to us. After almost 14 years of being a love to us he passed away. 14 years...some would say it was a  long time for a dog, for us it was not enough, for Kodiaks life could have been a life that was never ending. He could have stayed with us until we went to our maker. We wept...hard, long , and loud. It did not bring him back to us, but in our hearts we know he is in a good place. If we think of the Hindu believe that an animal , that has a  good  heart will reincarnate to a very good hearted human, than we can only be glad for him.  He will make a fine person.

He is terribly missed....but never forgotten...and will always be loved.

Take some time and read about the story of Kodiak. Share with us the memories of love  with a dog that was more human than most  humans.
